● The WPF Sessions shall be held in person, but may be held virtually or be blended

according to exceptional circumstances.

Rule 5 Agenda

● The WPF shall adopt its own agenda;

● Any Member of the WPF may present an item for further discussion, debate or reporting;

● The WPF rotating Presidency and the PAM Bureau may propose items to be debated by the

WPF;

● The agenda shall include no more than 3 substantive items for debate, which may fall within

the competence of the Assembly. The agenda is voted on by simple majority;

● Any participant may ask for the insertion of supplementary items in the agenda; the WPF

shall decide on such a request by a majority of the votes cast.

Rule 6 Decisions

● The WPF produces studies, reports and recommendations,

● Draft documents shall be circulated among the WPF members no later than 4 weeks prior to

a Session;

● Any Member of the WPF may present contributions and / or amendments to such a

document in writing;

● The WFP shall take a decision on motions, draft recommendations and amendments by a

majority of the votes cast;

● The WPF President shall keep the PAM Bureau abreast of the work conducted by the WFP.

This can be done during a PAM Bureau meeting.

● The WPF President shall keep the President and members of the 3rd Standing Committee

abreast of the work conducted by the WFP. This can be done during a Plenary Session.

Rule 7 - Budgetary Management

In compliance with rule 4.9 on Appropriations, included in Financial Regulations section of

PAM Statutes, “In line with the decision adopted by the 3rd PAM Annual Session in 2008, the costs

relative to the organization of PAM meetings shall be borne by the country hosting the event, with

the exception of extraordinary annual sessions(Rule 8.2 of the Rules of Procedure) “. This rule

being valid for all PAM activities, the Women Parliamentary Forum should conform to it. In this

regard:

● The host country of WPF meetings will support the budgetary and management costs.

● All MPs and participants will support their own travel costs to the country hosting the event.
